Creating Time Entries

You create Time Entries to accurately record your time, for Billing, Staff Administration and Expense recovery reasons. This topic shows you the different types of entries and shows you how you complete each type.

Select The User
By default, you dont have to select a user, but if you need to enter time for someone else, this allows you to.
Select the Entry Type
Select the Type of Time Entry you are creating. This will either be for Chargeable Time against a Job, an Administration Entry (for general day to day administration while at work, as well as all Leave types - such as annual leave, sick leave or public holidays), or Expenses to be charged to a Job.
Administration Entries
This section shows you how to create time entries for General Administration tasks. General Administration tasks include Staff Meetings, Breaks, Holidays & Sick Leave, Public Holidays and the like. They're not charged to a Client or a Job.
Chargeable Time Entries
Chargeable Time Entries allow you to record your Time against a specific Job, selecting the Discipline and Phase being worked on. This time is then used for Billing Purposes to determine the Invoices to be sent to the client.
